Pro wrestling icon Sid Eudy, also known as Sid Vicious, passes away at 63


Pro wrestling legend Sid Eudy, known as Sycho Sid and Sid Vicious, has passed away at the age of 63 after battling cancer for several years. Eudy won numerous championships in the 1990s, headlining major pay-per-view shows for both WWF and WCW. Standing at 6 feet, 9 inches tall, he was a dominant force in the ring and known for his intense and brutal style.

Eudy’s WWE bio describes him as one of the most brutal superstars in history, with a hit list that includes wrestling legends such as Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart. He joined WCW in 1989 and later won the WWE Championship in 1996 and 1997. Pro wrestler Booker T. Huffman credited Eudy with helping his career, saying that without him, he and his brother may not have made it to WCW.

Eudy is survived by his wife Sabrina, sons Gunnar and Frank. Gunnar described his father as a man of strength, kindness, and love, whose presence will be greatly missed. The wrestling community has paid tribute to Eudy, acknowledging his impact on the industry and the legacy he leaves behind.
