British rock band Oasis has announced their reunion after 15 years, with a tour planned for 2025. The band, famous for hits like Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger, split in 2009 due to tensions between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. The upcoming tour will include 14 shows across the United Kingdom, with plans for global performances later in the year.
The reunion will kick off in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4, followed by six shows in Manchester’s Heaton Park, and headline performances in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Tickets will go on sale this Saturday, promising to be one of the biggest live events of the decade. The Gallagher brothers have not performed together since the split, but individually continue to sing Oasis hits to sold-out crowds.
The reunion comes 30 years after the release of Oasis’s 1995 album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? which received critical and commercial acclaim. Despite their rocky relationship, Liam has expressed a desire to reconcile with his brother, emphasizing the importance of their bond beyond the music.
The announcement of the reunion has sparked excitement among fans, as Oasis prepares to reignite the Britpop era that defined the 1990s. With live shows planned across the UK and beyond, the Gallagher brothers are set to create a hot ticket event for music lovers worldwide.
