The Munich police have increased their presence in the city following an incident near the Nazi documentation centre. Shots were fired at a suspicious person in the Karolinenplatz area, with the person being hit. The police have asked the public not to share pictures or videos of the operation, but to upload them to a portal to assist with the investigation. There are currently no indications of any other suspects in connection with the operation. The area has been cordoned off and large forces are on site. The police have urged the public to remain calm and have assured that they are taking all necessary measures to ensure public safety.
