Kentucky Football has reached the halfway point of their season and 247Sports has released their superlatives for the team.
Leading the list is sophomore quarterback Will Levis, who has been named the offensive MVP so far this season. Levis has thrown for over 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns, leading the team to a 5-1 record. On the defensive side, junior linebacker DeAndre Square has been named the defensive MVP. Square has been a dominant force on the field, recording 46 tackles and two interceptions.
Other notable superlatives include senior wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson as the team’s most valuable player, senior kicker Matt Ruffolo as the unsung hero, and junior offensive lineman Kenneth Horsey as the most improved player. The coaching staff has also been recognized, with offensive coordinator Liam Coen and defensive coordinator Jon Sumrall named as the best coaches of the season so far.
