Israel is preparing for a possible ground assault in Lebanon, as the military chief announced the calling up of two brigades of reservists and continued airstrikes on Hezbollah targets. World leaders, including US President Joe Biden, have expressed concerns about the potential for all-out war in the region. The US is leading a diplomatic effort to end hostilities in Gaza and Lebanon, linking the two conflicts for the first time.
