A drone strike was reportedly launched towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea, but neither he nor his wife were there and there were no casualties. The Israel Defense Forces stated that a drone from Lebanon struck a building in the area while two other drones were intercepted. This incident is under review by authorities. The attack occurred shortly after Israel killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in the Gaza Strip, who was responsible for terrorist attacks. Netanyahu called Sinwar’s death the “beginning of the end” for Hamas, although the war is ongoing. Following Sinwar’s death, Hezbollah, a militant group in Lebanon and Hamas ally, pledged to escalate violence against Israel. This is a developing story and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
