The Kentucky STUNT team finished as runners-up in The Joust tournament held at California Baptist University, losing to four-time defending national champion California Baptist in the championship game. Kentucky opened the day with a dominant win over Arizona State before falling to CBU in the final. Despite the loss, Isabella Doria was named to the first team all-tournament team and Isabella Franzella was named to the second team.
The Cats saw their 19-game winning streak come to an end with the loss but will look to bounce back in their next games against Hiram and Mercyhurst in Erie, Pa. The team’s strong performance at The Joust solidifies their standing as one of the top STUNT teams in the country. Kentucky displayed impressive skills in partner stunts, pyramids, tosses, jumps, tumbling, and team routine during the tournament, showcasing their talent and determination.
